Many of you have loved Keith’s artwork and enjoyed seeing him and his paintings in St Ives for years. If so, you will have been aware that his health has been deteriorating for some time now. It is with sadness at this beautiful time of year that I announce that Keith passed away quietly in my arms on 15 December 2016.

He loved St Ives, his family, his painting and he truly loved interacting with each of you. Every year he looked forward to the summer season as a time for meeting old and new friends and sharing his art with you. At his request we will be having a quiet family service instead of a funeral, however he did agree to a celebration of his life and work and he wanted each of you to be invited. We will be holding this Memorial (date and venue to be announced) sometime in the early part of June 2017. Please mark this on your calendar.

He was not afraid, as he lived as he painted and had such faith that he knew that however it all works, he would be joining with higher realms. Some of you are aware that for the last three or four years he was writing a book about his life and spiritual path. Even I have not yet read it, I had promised to edit it for him when he was ready. So I will take up this mantle in the next months and years (whatever it takes) and when it is completed, let you know.

Keith and I wish you a lovely Christmas. It was one of Keith’s favourite times of year and he would be the first to ask you to be joyful for him.
